Located in historic downtown Seward, Thorn's Showcase Lounge is under new ownership. With all sincerity, we absolutely believe that is no better reflection of a community then it’s bars and restaurants. What I really love, is that everything that happens in a community happens through the lens of our bars and restaurants. Guests celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, new jobs, getting fired, divorces, celebrations of life, end of season, beginning of season or just a solid day of refuge because it’s been raining for a week or three We get to share in those experiences, and literally set the table – acting as their wingman, their concierge, their ace in the hold. If I ever want a good pulse on a town I find it in a conversation with a bartender or server. For me, it’s an honest perspective and it cuts to the heart of what any town is.
